Adenoid Tonsil Surgery

The procedure to remove the tonsils is called a tonsillectomy, and removing the adenoids is called an adenoidectomy. Because they are often removed at the same time, the procedure is known as a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. The operation is most often performed on children.
